When faced with an existential crisis that threatened not just the rest of the galaxy, but also their stuff it appears the wealthy inhabitants of Ilium were in fact able to mobilize their assets in the form of guns, and thus the asari-controlled world is in better shape than Thessia herself. There are still more than a few of the towers that are interesting piles of wreckage, but Nos Astra has survived well enough. Pepper Potts, armed with a datapad full of contacts and the confident knowledge that she can carry off the local business fashions as well as any asari, has recently concluded a successful day's networking in time to be found leaning against the railing of a private balcony in one of the better bars.

The restoration and expansion of the mass relay network, not being an existential crisis and instead being an opportunity to make obscene amounts of money while developing new tech, has returned Illium's business community to its normal state of combat-by-lawyer in short order, but the half of her partnership that's involved in implementing a lot of the new tech ought to be arriving soon.
